I find it funny to talk about waterproofness at the moment when the lid of your bag is leaking and when it rains, water easily flows inside. A cape is also not supplied to help solve this problem. I hope you release V3 soon which fixes this problem. Peak Design should generally innovate products faster - your tripod has been outperformed by tripods at 1/5 to 1/2 the price for several years - I also bought another instead when I saw how weak the Peak Design is and at such a high price it doesn't make sense to buy. But camera straps are still the best.👍

So it finally happen, i lost the hextool, i think i didn't push it entirely because the tripod was already in the bag in a tight position. For the next tripod you should add it inside the center column or something

How well does it handle heat though? I don't want to add a layer of nylon insulation to the back of a phone that already heats up a lot

I tested it in a store a few days ago. It is nice and the padded area on the strap is comfortable but it's not possible to easy move the padded area to use it on the left side, right side, more to the back more to the side quickly. Sure you can adjust the lenghts on the left and right from the padding but that's rather difficult and there is small amount of leeway. Therefore, I am still hesitating to buy and still looking for alternatives...

Why not tone it down with the magnets so we don't demagnetize cheap cards like train passes, metalic credit card, etc?! And the marketing is wrong. This isn't actually SlimLink - it is magsafe. Why not use your proprietary SlimLink system - no one else is going to produce a wallet for it. Also with stronger magnets this can affect AF (autofocus) in phone cameras. It will depend on the phone and if you keep the wallet on during the AF. A pretty underwhelming product, especially for such a high cost. For that price you should be able to throw some tin foil into it for NFC skim protection (someone coming up to you and charging your cards; this is common for modern wallets).

The first item then down the list towards the bottom of the options. Both are the same price. Are they the same or different items? Thanks

Would be good to have one certified to make the carry-on limitations of Ryan Air (and the like). They all seem slightly too big. Seems they limit to 40x20x20cm. And they're very strict and don't have a problem telling you "either pay 80EU for the bag or you're not allowed to board your flight."

Add dog sling or some sort of carrier.

I use the x-s20 with smallrig cage, and when handheld, I don't want another bracket. I'd love if tge micro clutch was detachable from the plate and maybe usable with the anchors or anchor bracket. That'd make it much more versatile. I shrug at the thought of needing a tool to change batteries... I'll stock with the OG clutch 😊

Hi, unfortunately, I missed the event as well, partially because of the short notice, partially because of the different time zone, but never mind! The important thing is to say that you should check different motorcycles, and you will find that these mounts do not fit well with some of them. Like the BMW K1600GT or the BMW R1250RT, both of them have aluminium-like bars with bolts that hold the left and right handles. Check, and you will see that maybe only one of them might fit...

I had been using quadloc for years but switched to a PD ball mount last year. I also got a bar mount but the articulation was insufficient. I've asked several times for a charging mount and jumped on Kickstarter as soon as these launched. I've ordered both ball and bar charging mounts and can't wait to get them in my hands

missed the livestream unfortunately :/ but I love PD products, own a messenger bag V1 from kickstarter back then - still holding up strong. Picked up a motomount+carmount+bikemount last year and I am still stumped how here in Europe the „other two brands“ are still far more widely known and spread than the far superior PD products - but we‘ll keep spreading the word ;) I jumped at the kickstarter wagon as soon as I‘ve heard of the V2 with charging capability. My V1 moto mount will simply go onto my mountainbike when the new one arrives - I still do need to figure out, which of the new mounting options will be best suitable to my needs in terms of positioning the phone. I might drop you an email asking for your thoughts/suggestions on it.

I missed this because I was out riding. I jumped on kickstarter ASAP. I’ve been using your mounts since they came out. I’m still thrilled! I always tell people about them. I have the motorcycle mounts on two bikes and the magnetic mounts in both of my cars! This is by far the best phone mount ever! I would love to see a live chat radio show. Saw you at MotoGP. See you at Sturgis! I’ll probably be the only Janus rider there.

New e-bike charger mount incoming! I have V.1 on my e-bike now and am looking forward to not having to plug in my phone anymore! BUT.... i do need a short cable...

These things are absolutely beautiful and I’m very excited to pick a couple up! The design is almost flawless, which makes it frustrating that they decided to put the in-line connector so close to the mount. A beautiful mount, with a janky connector placement that (in probably the worst place I can think of) that’ll leave me with a wire that’s potentially difficult to run. This is mostly aesthetics in my mind, but the connector has also been placed where it’ll be exposed to the most elements! Why they didn’t put the in-line connector at the end of a long cable, so it could be installed much closer to the battery/ignition source, as to keep it somewhat out of the elements, and to provide a cleaner look when routing and installing the cable, is beyond me… (unless I’m missing something) Other than one (admittedly somewhat trivial) gripe, these look absolutely amazing and I’m on board with the kickstarter and picking up a couple as soon as they’re available. Great work!!

Can you still use the top handle as a luggage passthrough like you could on the V1? It was nice being able to get the lid open while it sat on my suitcase. Less secure, but usually good enough.
